  24.     MS-DOS Kermit is, as the name says, a DOS program. That means
  25. it has no contact with the resident OS/2 TCP/IP stack, nor with the
  26. resident PPP driver. If there is an Int 14h style presenter then MSK
  27. should work with it, but so far I haven't heard of one.
  28.     It's difficult for many people to realize that OS/2, NT, Windows,
  29. Unix, etc are vastly different environments that DOS and that DOS programs
  30. (or programs written for another of the above) simply don't integrate into
  31. the particular protected mode very peculiar environment that these systems
  32. represent. These o/s' hand out system resources, say a TCP/IP stack, only
  33. to programs designed and written specifically for them in toto.
